When you start reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, you realize that by the end of the book, the death count is quite high. Many wizards and magical creatures lose their lives either through the story or at the very end when the Battle of Hogwarts is going on. |
Here is a list of Who Dies In The New Harry Potter Book ?.
- The book starts with Voldemort torturing Professor Charity Burbage, who teaches Muggle Studies at Hogwarts. She is killed by means of a killing curse and thereafter fed to Voldemort's snake, Nagini.
- In the fourth chapter of the book, Harry's pet owl, Hedwig, dies when Harry is attacked by Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
- Auror and Scrimgeour are killed in the Battle of Hogwarts.
- While searching for the Elder Wand, one of the Deathly Hallows, Voldemort kills Gregorovitch and Grindelwald.
- A friend of Dumbledore's, Bathilda Bagshot, is also killed.
- In chapter 27, in a fit of rage Voldemort kills many Death Eaters and a goblin from Gringotts.
- Nagini, the snake, is responsible for killing Professor Snape.
- Many Hogswart students and members of the Order of the Phoenix are killed in the last attack of the Battle of Hogwarts. Also, to die are Tonks, Lupin and Fred Weasley.
- Nagini is killed by Neville Longbottom.
- Bellatrix Lestrange is killed by Mrs Weasley.
- And, the last character to die is the infamous Voldemort, who get killed by his own killing curse.
